Best Poster Award
The 31st SPP Physics Congress will award special prizes for the best posters displayed during the conference. One poster of each session will be awarded. The criteria for judging include scientific content, originality, and design. Selection will be done by three reviewers nominated by the poster session chairs. The winners will be announced during the Congress and will receive “SPP Best Scientific Poster Award” certificate.
Best “Artistic-Scientific Image” Contest
SPP invites all authors to submit impressive scientific images (one entry image per manuscript) to the 2013 SPP Best Artistic-Scientific Image Contest. Entries will be judged based on scientific and/or artistic value. The images could be original or nominally processed. The format should follow A4 aspect ratio (8.27 in x 11.69 in) and the resolution should be at least 300 dpi. Copyrights to the submitted entries will be transferred to SPP. Selection will be done by a jury of three members. The winners will be announced during the Congress and will receive “SPP Best Artistic-Scientific Image Award” certificate. Some of the entries may be included in the cover design of the conference program magazine/press releases. The deadline for submission of entries is on September 8, 2013. Best “USC Photo” Contest
Submit one photo of the University of San Carlos at its best. The photos (>300 dpi, any format) should be captured only during the conference dates. As proof that the entry is a fresh photo, submit also an accompanying photo with you in the frame. Copyrights to the submitted entries should be transferred to SPP. Selection will be done by a jury of three members. The winners will be announced during the Congress and will receive special prizes.
