The National Institute of Physics seeks candidates to fill teaching (non-tenure track) and tenure-track positions for the Academic Year 2013-2014. Employment begins on 1 November 2013.
Qualifications
Applicants for the teaching (non-tenure track) position must have at least a BS Physics/Applied Physics degree. Those accepted with a BS/MS physics degree must enroll in our MS/PhD Physics graduate program. Preference will be given to candidates with no failing grades.
Applicants for the tenure track position must have a PhD degree in Physics or related field and must be able to initiate, lead and sustain a research team. The successful applicant is expected to obtain research grants and advise /mentor students in our graduate and undergraduate programs.

Non-tenure track applications should complete NIP Form TEACH-001 and include a cover letter, transcript of records/true copy of grades, certificate of graduation or diploma and the names and email addresses of three referees.
Tenure-track applications should contain a cover letter, curriculum vita, transcript of records, certificate of graduation/diploma, statements of research and teaching experience and interests, three representative papers published within the last 5 years and the names and email addresses of three referees.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary starts at Php 23,044/month (Instructor 1) plus benefits. UP Diliman employs only Filipino citizens and lawfully authorized non-Filipino citizens.
